PLAN YOUR JOURNEY

Address: 6 Namba Road, Duffy's Forest, NSW 2084 (enter from Biramal Road)

Turn off Mona Vale Rd at Terrey Hills and follow Booralie Rd for ~5km into Thuddungra Rd.  Namba Rd will be on your right halfway up the hill.  From Namba turn right into Birramal Rd.

Please park only on the "Christmas Tree" side of the road.

BE ON TIME

Sessions are scheduled to last 20-minutes and will be strictly timed to ensure that the afternoon runs to plan for all clients. Please allow plenty of time to travel to the Farm, park your vehicle and to make your way to us. If you cannot locate us easily upon arrival, please contact me on 0400 872791.

BE RESPECTFUL OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE FARM

The Farm is a small family-run business which is made available to Photographers on the understanding that we are respectful of their property. The Farm has a rabbit proof fence around the property to protect seedling trees from being nibbled at and as such, we are required to keep the gate at the top of the driveway closed. Horses are on agistment in the surrounding paddocks bordering the Christmas Trees and no-one is allowed to enter the paddocks or to feed them.

A NOTE ON BRINGING YOUR DOG

Dogs are welcome at the Christmas Tree Farm however MUST be on a lead for the entirety of the time that you are on the property. The owners of the Farm have their own dog who may be unleashed.

WHAT TO WEAR

We suggest that family members co-ordinate outfits and anything in neutral, natural colours – white, cream, beige, grey, olive – will look great. A pop of Christmas red, green, gold or silver is also a wonderful touch. It is recommended to choose no more than three or four colours. You are welcome to bring a change of clothing however this will eat into your session time which is strictly limited to 20 minutes. Festive hats or accessories are welcome. We will have a selection of props that you are welcome to borrow from.

Shoes are a must at the Farm.

Be comfortable and confident in your clothing choices. I suggest staying away from anything too tight or that restricts movement as there will be some walking and playing as part of your session.

WHAT TO BRING

Water and a snack for little ones to ensure that they are not 'hangry'!

Poop bags, treats and a leash if you are bringing your dog.

Insect repellent and sunscreen application before arrival can be an excellent idea.

Any festive props that you would like to include in your session - hats, hair accessories.

A sense of fun.

WHAT IF IT RAINS

In the case of inclement weather all sessions will be moved to the studio in Freshwater. A decision on this will be made by 12pm on the day of your scheduled session and you will be alerted by email. Please add rachel@rachelwildigphotography.com to your contact list to ensure that you receive our correspondence.
